The TU Marketing Timeline
TU Marketing was founded by Neil and Claire Taylor as a husband-and-wife partnership. The business started with a simple belief: that marketing should be honest, commercially grounded, and built to last. No hype. No empty promises. Just work that earns its keep.
The first team members joined the company. We built out our development team, headed up by Danny Sam. Danny is still with us today, which tells you something about the kind of business this is. The people who join TU Marketing tend to stay.
We broadened our reach. For the first eight years, we worked primarily with businesses in Hertfordshire, Essex, and North London. In 2015, we started working with clients across the whole of the UK. The work was the same. The ambition grew.
Neil and Claire moved to Spain. Our remote-first approach meant that the business could operate from anywhere without missing a beat. It also proved something we had always believed: that the quality of the work matters more than where you sit when you do it.
Claire started speaking on stages, including BrightonSEO, one of the largest search marketing conferences in Europe. She also became a contributor to Search Engine Land, writing about SEO and digital marketing for one of the industry's most respected publications.
Neil retired from the business. After 16 years building TU Marketing together, Neil stepped back. Claire continued as the driving force behind the agency, with the same values, the same standards, and the same commitment to doing work that matters.
The company continued to grow. We expanded the team, took on new clients, and deepened our expertise in AI visibility and LLM optimisation. The marketing landscape was changing fast. We made sure our clients were ahead of it.
We restructured the business from an LLP to a limited company (Company reg: 16868937). A new chapter, built on the same foundations.
What Is Next
We have strong ambitions to be the best B2B visibility agency in the UK. Not the biggest. The best. That means being the agency that B2B founders trust when they are serious about growth. The agency that delivers results, not excuses. The agency that clients stay with for eight years and counting.
